Disney goes to 'Jungle Junction'

Disney Channel's preschool "Playhouse Disney" block has put the animated skein "Jungle Junction" in production.
Cabler has also given third-season greenlights to Playhouse Disney staples "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and "My Friends Tigger & Pooh."

Ex-Disney Exec Launches Global Wonders

Former Disney exec Rashmi Turner, exec producer of the Baby Einstein DVD series, has launched Global Wonders, a new children's multicultural education and entertainment brand. Based in Pasadena, Calif., the venture is dedicated to introducing children to different customs, music, languages and lifestyles. A line of animated DVDs, music CD, online games and other products will begin to roll out at retail this fall.
