The President of the park, who is interviewed in the video, tells them that nothing is copied from Disney and that all the characters are original creations (He also says the line about Mickey rip-off = big-eared cat). Doraemon, Hello Kitty and Kimba the White Lion are shown in this park as well, those are characters created in Japan being used without permission in this Chinese theme park, so this issue obviously concerns all of Japan since they’re important icons of their pop culture.
