Disneyland Space Mountian With the Lights On
The old Space Mt… about 1/2 of the ride with the lights on. The lights are on because the ride’s braking system stopped all the cars, probably one got too close to another. The CMs come along (starting with the end of the ride) and push each car to get it going then gravity takes over.

The Spacemountain in Disneyland Paris is so much better.
Dude this would be so scary! Look how close together the tracks are! If you were to stand up on this ride your head would get cut off! :O I’m like scared to go on this now

i loved that ride but it was way too short…i had seen it with lights out
Yeah, There was a pole where I almost banged my head on the Disneyland Hong Kong. lol everyone in Hong Kong is short
lol when i went to diseny on april 4 2008 they turned on the lights cuz someone paniced and got out before they started moving, but i dont know about this one.

ahhh that would be cool to experince space mountain with the lights on! its probably funner with the lights off because you dont really know where you are going and what will happen next but its probably fun either wayy!
now seeing how close the poles really are to you i doubt imma go on this again lol
When I went to Disneyland last year, I wore a showercap and called this Spaceman Mountain.

The top speed of Space Mountain is only 30.2 mph. The sense of speed comes from the lights and sound effects. The high number of block sections was intended to enable the park to have many cars go at once and not hit each other. The park does not push the limits and put on as many cars as the ride was designed for, so the wait time is horrible.
I know, seems strange they’d let a 3 year old on it. Things may have been a bit different in 1986. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t Thunder Mountain.

I AGREE. I’ve been dying to do SM with the lights on, and came within 30 seconds once – was in line, I had already been grouped, and before I got on it broke down. >:-( SO CLOSE!!
