Disneyland Paris – 2009

I hope that you enjoy our family visiting Disneyland Paris and Disney Studios in July this year (2009). I couldnt find many videos of the parks on youtube to show the kids and get them excited about our upcoming trip. We have 4.5 year old twins and a 1.5 year old, and had a truly wonderful time. The park was fabulously maintained and there is plenty to see. We took the Eurostar from London and stayed for 3 days/2 nights (we are from Australia). If you have young kids, you may need a stroller as the parks are huge and you will end up with them on your shoulders most of the time. As we were there in summer holidays, the lines were very long, but our kids were more than happy seeing the characters in the hotel, parks and restaurants. The ambiance is fantastic and the park is as good as its counterparts in the USA. Watch out for the Euro exchange rate (Ouch!) and the all too many souvenir shops that are scattered every 20 metres. It is very easy to get from the Disney hotels; however the fireworks are very late (11pm) for young kids. My only regret is that I didnt get to go on any of the adult rides guess Ill have to wait another 10 years or so! Enjoy!

WOW That was quiet cool here, but i dont like fireworks, because they scare they made a loud bang, i wonder it is holiday here, and theres all hundreds of Disney characters come to live here to greet people, im glad that boy and the girl had a good time here. I dont want to go there, because the characters look a bit fake really the people in the suits, and there,ll be scary rides, i can always watch it on Disney Videos Adverts

Great video, thanks for taking the time to prepare it. Our boys are even more excited to attend Disney. Great touch on the kid collision!

I’m sure that you’ll be fine. You know that more people are killed by Donkeys each year, than die in plane crashes!!! So as long as you keep away from donkeys (Winnie the Pooh characters excepted), you should be fine!

I was there in July as well and it was amazing.
I wasnted to go on Crushes Coaster and it was a 120 minute wait.
    I was gutted.
There’s not Fastpass either so it’s annoying.
    Your children are amazingly cute.

    X’s

The crusher coaster looked great, but the line had a sign saying that it would take 90 minutes, so we gave it a miss! I am sure that you will love the parks, 11 would be a great age to go. Thanks for the feedback.

At the Newport Bay Hotel – Very reasonable and clean. The kids loved the characters in the foyer. I would love to have been 12 times, but it’s a long way from Australia!
