Disneyland Resort Ambassador Program Celebrates 45 Years!

The Ambassador Program is a tradition that began at the Disneyland Resort in 1965 when Walt Disney realized the need for an official representative of Disneyland. Currently, each of Disney’s resort destinations around the world has an Ambassador whose full-time duties include participating in more than 200 events each year. Events include: Cast Member recognition ceremonies, grand openings, marketing events, special promotions and media interviews.

2009 CHOC Walk at the Disneyland Resort

More than 12000 walkers participated in the 19th annual CHOC Walk in the Park, hosted by the Disneyland Resort. The walkers raised more than .5 million dollars for the hospital during this years event that took place on October 18th.
