Lori MacPherson has been promoted to executive VP/general manager of WaltDisney Studios Home Entertainment, effectively filling the studio division's top spot, which has been vacant since Bob Chapek was promoted late last year.

Roy Edward Disney, son of Disney Studios co-founder Roy O. Disney, and nephew of WaltDisney, passed away Dec. 16 at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach following a yearlong battle with stomach cancer. He was 79 years old.
