Disneyland Resort Ambassador Program Celebrates 45 Years!

The Ambassador Program is a tradition that began at the Disneyland Resort in 1965 when Walt Disney realized the need for an official representative of Disneyland. Currently, each of Disney’s resort destinations around the world has an Ambassador whose full-time duties include participating in more than 200 events each year. Events include: Cast Member recognition ceremonies, grand openings, marketing events, special promotions and media interviews.

Disney’s Fantillusion night parade at Disneyland Resort Paris. December 2007. Formerly performed at Tokyo Disneyland , the parade was created in 1995 specifically for Tokyo Disneyland, it was developed by the team behind Fantasmic!, the show performed at Disneyland in Anaheim and the Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, with the aim of condensing the story of Fantasmic! and putting it into a parade format.
